Whoopi Goldberg storms off set as The View co-hosts weigh in on Miranda Lambert drama

A big argument broke out on ABC’s “The View” about a viral video where Miranda Lambert told fans to stop taking selfies during her concert in Las Vegas. The co-hosts Sunny Hostin and Whoopi Goldberg had different opinions on the matter. Sunny believed that if people spent $757 on tickets, they should be allowed to take as many selfies as they want. On the other hand, Whoopi emphasized the need for respect, saying, “Please respect me by watching my performance, or just don’t come.”

The drama began when Lambert stopped her concert to show her annoyance at fans taking selfies. Whoopi, agreeing with Lambert, got up from her seat and said to Sunny, “Turn on the television, girl.” To make it funny, Whoopi took a selfie with someone in the audience, which made everyone laugh and led to a commercial break.

Even though Lambert got some backlash for what happened, there were fans who backed her up. Lindsey, who was there, stood up for the singer by saying, “I’m on Team @mirandalambert. She doesn’t need to apologize to anyone. I witnessed everything myself.”
